Lindstrom Air Conditioning and 101.5 Lite FM Celebrate April’s Earth Month by Giving Away a High Efficiency Air Conditioning System

Coconut Creek, FL, May 18, 2010 – The month of April was Earth Month and 101.5 Lite FM in conjunction with Lindstrom Air Conditioning, created “The Green Page”, a month long resource on the 101.5 Lite FM website designed to help raise environmental awareness throughout South Florida. This page promoted practical and positive changes – simple and useful tips to make you ‘go green’, help the planet, and save yourself money. 

During the month individuals were able to visit ‘The Green Page’ for daily environmental tips and sign-up for the “Going Green A/C Give Away”. 150 winners received a free tune-up from Lindstrom Air Conditioning and one lucky winner won a new Carrier High-Efficiency Air Conditioner from Lindstrom Air.

Gina Cantos, of North Miami Beach, FL was the lucky winner of the Carrier High Efficiency air conditioner system. Cantos stated, “I’m stunned, excited, happy, and very appreciative. Lindstrom Air made my day, no made my month!

Carrier Air Conditioning systems are a great example of ‘going green’. The high efficiency rating on Carrier A/C systems mean that it takes less energy to run for the same amount of comfort. Less energy also means lower utility bills. And, Carrier A/C systems provide this comfort through the use of the environmentally friendly refrigerant, R401A.
